Russell Square is a beautiful garden square located in Bloomsbury (London Borough of Camden), London. Russell Square’s name originated from the Earls and Dukes of Bedford. The square was created when the 5th Duke (Francis Russell) laid the new streets out on the gardens of his prior home, Bedford House. Right from the very beginning this area has aimed to attract upper-middle-class residents. There has been a number of well-known tenants living and working in this area for hundreds of years, including renowned poet T.S Eliot who had a career in poetry editing for many years.
