No. 70-71 Wells Street was built in 1869 as a church school. It then became a haberdashery in 1925, a photography studio in 1970, and is presently an office building (2018). The three-storey Tudor-style construction exhibits mid-Victorian craftsmanship. This building has recently undergone refurbishment, producing a sophisticated internal atrium with original features that serve as a respectful reminder of its past.
