Office Space City Core

The City Core of the historical City of London is one of the world’s oldest and grandest financial districts. It also remains one its most powerful, alongside other icons such as New York and Tokyo.

Not surprisingly, it attracts major occupiers from the financial sector. But the scene is evolving, with many legal firms now choosing to base their flagship locations here, most notably Freshfields and Ashurst.

A unique city culture
There are a number of bars and restaurants that serve the local blue-chip crowd. Leadenhall Market is one of the most important and historic; still with its atmospheric cobbles and purveyors of fine foods and drink.

In fact, the streets are filled with professional attire. But it does not take long to reach the more diverse neighbourhoods of Midtown or, even closer, Aldgate and Whitechapel. A fifteen-minute walk to One New Change brings a rich variety of stores, together with a picturesque rooftop bar.

An even more ambitious future
The leasing market has recently been dominated by pre-lets, but in terms of supply there are plenty of schemes under construction, all of which should add further quality office space to the existing stock.
